REVIEW: CHANEL GLOSSIMER, 105 SIDERAL

Hey everyone,

This is a review on a Chanel Glossimer in "105 Sideral" from the Levres Scintillantes collection.

First thing you should know about the whole Levres Scintillantes collection is that all the shades of colours are very vibrant and you won't find a subtle colour. This can be good and bad; you may want your lips to be the focus of your makeup but you may also want your makeup to not be over the top.

The consistancy is even stickier than MAC Dazzleglasses BUT Chanel acts as a lipstick in a gloss form whereas MAC is just a transparent gloss. The glitter is a little chunkier than necessary but i think it is just due to the amount because it can be seen that the glitteris still very finely milled. It has a metalic finish as the blue glitters reflect upon the pink.

The packaging is extremley appealing with the gorgeous gold Chanel decals. For $53 i would say that this product is worth it but just because it works great as a lipstick. I probably would not purchase any more colours from the collection as they don't appeal to me but this vibrant pink is a gorgeous colour to have in my collection.

Although Chanel promises creamy with this gloss they don't deliver. However, it is still a great 2-in-1 product with it able to be used as a lipstick and lipgloss.

MAGAZINE: ITALIAN VOGUE BEAUTY 2010

Hey everyone,
I found these gorgeous scans from the 2010 Italian Vogue. I have been reading Italian magazines ever since i began learning Italian 3 years ago and they are amazing things to read. Even if you can't read Italian, the pictures entertain you enough!!

It seems as though 2010 in Italy is all about blonde hair and bleached eyebrows. Everywhere you looked in this issue it was platinum blonde hair and white eyebrows! The hairstyles in some of these pictures are incredible and definetley unique.

8 FAVOURITE: MAC SHADOWS

Hey everyone,

This is a new sort of thing i am going to be doing on my blog it is "8 FAVOURITE:" which is a strange amount of something, i know, but i think 10 of something is too much and so you get 8. I would honestly be asleep by the time i got through 10 items LOL :)

The following 8 things are my favourite MAC eyeshadows.

Clarity, Talent Pool, Bitter, Amber Lights,
Sable, Naked Lunch, Vanilla, Forgery.

INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT Clarity: Matte2. Clarity is an amazing vibrant blue.

Talent Pool: Starflash. A super pretty ocean blue that reflects green.

Bitter: Velvet. A fluro green with gorgeous lime green sparkles.
Amber Lights: Frost. A stunning shimmery baked gold with hints of warmth and a foiled effect on the lid.

Sable: Frost. A beautiful chestnut brown. Perfect for the crease in any neutral look.
Naked Lunch: Frost. A peachy toned hilight with pink reflects.

Vanilla: Velvet. So incredibly smooth and glides right on. A pigmented white hilight with beautiful silver and blue reflects.
Forgery: Lustre. Basically just a whole bunch of silver glitter pressed into pan form. Surprisingly there is minimal fallout and looks like a pigment has been used.

So they are my 8 favourite MAC eyeshadows. Tell me some of your favourites? Reccomend me some nice MAC shadows and i will look into purchasing them :)

HAUL 27: MAC

Hey everyone,
So i purchased a couple of things from MAC because i mentioned in a previous post that i havn't been to MAC in a while. I am really happy with what i bought and would love to share them with you.

"Talent Pool" Eyeshadow:
This is an amazing ocean greeny blue. It is mainly blue but reflects green glitters. Super pretty for a lid colour!!

"Bitter" Eyeshadow:
A fluro lime green eyeshadow. A shadow i have been wanting for ages and i finally got aorudn to purchasing it.

"Naked Lunch" Eyeshadow:
A beautiful champagne colour that reflects peachy tones.

"Sable" Eyeshadow:
A deep chestnut brown. Very rich and creamy with a butter like consistancy. Looks a lot like "Naked Lunch" in the photo but is a lot darker in real life.

"Love Alert" Dazzleglass:
I vibrant red with ruby pearl. The most pigmented Dazzleglass i have ever owned.

"Extra Amps Dazzleglass":
A bright watermelon pink with green and red duo chrome sparkles.

"Like Venus" Dazzleglass:
A bubblegum pink with baby pink duo chrome sparkles.

"She-Zam" Dazzleglass:
A limited edition Dazzleglass that came out with the Magic, Mirth, and Mischeif, christmas 2009 collection. I saw that my MC had a couple left over and bought one because it's silver. How cool is that?!?

Studio Fix:
This is just my foundation that i used and i thought i should stock up.

Select Sheer Pressed:
I really wanted to try out a new MAC pressed powder and this one is sooo cute with the little sponge and everything. Looking forward to trying this out.

MAC HAUL

REVIEW: 5 COOL CAPERS

Hey everyone,
So this is going to be a review on the 5 Cool Capers set that came out with the 2009 christmas collection (Magic, Mirth, and Mischeif) It is a set that comes with mini sizes of 4 pigments and 1 glitter;
1) Fuchsia – pigment (4/5)
I am always careful with bright pink shadows because they can often make you look like you have been crying, have an eye infection etc. but this is a very nice colour for the outer corner of your eye with a light pink all over the lid. I use this with MAC Swish e/s and it is amazing.
2) Kitschmas – pigment (3/5)
Kitchmas is a really light purple, like lilac. I have a few problems with the grainyness of it therefore fallout is common. A super pretty all over lid colour for a wash of purple.
3) Reflects Transparent Teal – glitter (5/5)
I can not say enough good things about this glitter. It is my first MAC gliter and i can see myself purchasing many more. It is such a fine consistancy and totally doesnt feel like big chunks of glitter AT ALL. It feels so soft like crushed pearl. It adds BAM to your look when you take a clean blending brus, dip it in the glitter and swipe it over the whole lid. Makes any matte e/s look like a glitter whilst blending the whole look together.
4) Deep Blue Green – pigment (3/5)
A beautiful deep dark navy blue that reflects green. Super smooth and glides on really well. It is just a little dark and i would only use a tiny bit on my outer corner with a blue look.
5) Grape – pigment (4/5)
A beautiful deep purple with silver and pink reflects in it. A very nice buttery consistancy as if it has been whipped. The perfect finishing touch to a purple look and is fabulous is the crease.

OVERALL: 19/25
= 76% perfect
= 24% to be improved
(I have been learning about percentages in math...who said they dont use math?!? Cause i always do!)
I think i would repurchase all of these pigments. I am so glad i purchased this holiday set because they gave me mini sizes of them and i can't even see myself going through that much pigment. It is true you need the SMALLEST little dab in a pigment to do your WHOLE eyelid.

SORRY AND SOCIAL ACCOUNTS

Hey everyone,
So this post is going to be an apology and references to my social accounts.

Firstly, i am sooo sorry for neglecting you guys! I know it sounds harsh buts that's what it comes down to. It has been crazy how people who i didn't even know read my blog are contacting me through email, formspring and cbox on here telling me how i have been slacking and i should be thankful for my dedicated followers. If you were one of those people then don't worry, it's totally fine to tell me that and i thank you for bringing it to my attention. It has been a mixture of many things so i would like to list the main just so you get an idea as to why i have been so vague.
* School: It is nearing the end of term 1 and therefore all of the assignments are piling in. I have many assignments on the go at the moment and have been dedicating lots of time to them. Then of course the actual being at school bit. People always get angry at me for not replying to them within 24 hours. It is because i go on the internet at night, then have no time in the morning, then im at school. Finally, i get back to you. Please be patient :)
* Work: I work 3 jobs. A hairdressing salon, a bakery and a modelling agency. Although modelling isn't very often (i only do it for the money, it isn't my life ambitions) it is very long hours and most of the time i have nothing left of me to spare for the internet. I have set hours at the hairdressing salon and bakery every week so im booked up in the working aspect as well.
* Extra Curricular: Cheerleading practice literally kills me so im pretty much dead by the time i come home and just need a long shower. Debating is mentally draining and i tend to be sick of writing by the time i am finished my speech. I also try to go to gym in any spare time i have left over after school so that physically kills me as well.

* Family & Friends: I am the oldest in my family and have 4 younger siblings so i love playing with them after school, eliminating more possible time for internet. I also like to be socially balanced and enjoy hanging out with my friends which fills my time as well.

So that is about it. Please remember i do not live on the internet and have a life other than online. I truley appreciate all my followers and subscribers so i don't want to let them down but i don't want to stress myself too much. I hope you understand :)


Secondly, I get many questions asking me about what social networking sites i use. I don't like to confuse people and links are always in the sidebar. I don't create them to be followed or subscribed too. They are just for the people who want to view them and learn more about me. MAC WISHLIST

Hey everyone,

I got someone asking me what i want from MAC at the moment and it made me think. I have not been to MAC is just over a month so it's pretty much the longest time we have been apart. (see the haul on YouTube and Blogspot) I have just been really busy lately and the times i have gone shopping in the past month, i havn't been that attracted to MAC.
