SHOE COLLECTION AND ORGANISATION!

Hey girls,
I have recently changed my shoe organization, taking over the garage storage shelves with my shoes has put them in a prime position for me to quickly slip on before I get in the car and leave. Having them categorized into high shoes (heels, wedges, platforms) and low shoes (thongs, flats, boots) makes them accessible and easy to choose which shoes to wear depending on the outfit I'm wearing. Having them lined up so that I can see all of the options has also made it much quicker to decide than having to rummage through a giant box full of shoes. I'm pretty happy with the way I currently organize my shoes but I'm sure that it will change soon enough so here is my current collection and organization.
Keep reading for details about each pair of shoes.
Guess pink and gold peep toes, Nine West silver bow peep toes, London Rebel cream peep toes.
London Rebel black pumps, London Rebel silver strap wedges, Qupid black and twine strap wedges.
Lipstick beige twine peep toe wedges, Forever New baby pink twine peep toe wedges, Rubi black bow peep toe wedges (+ Weather Guard for my sparkly shoes that need sealing from wet weather).
I'm not really going to go through all of my flats because they aren't as interesting but I keep my most worn ones on this shelf and the rest I hardly wear in a box. I have a mixture of ballet flats, gladiator sandals, open toed flats, dressy flip flops, thongs and boots.
That is most of my shoe collection of date but even when writing this I can think of a couple of pairs I have picked up since this photo was taken but this is most of it and how I organize everything.

OOTN: WEARING METALLICS

Hey girls,
I just wanted to share with you an OOTN that explores how to wear metallics. It's always a challenge to put together an outfit involving a metallic piece without looking like a space alien and considering it's a huge upcoming trend for Winter, I thought it would be useful to share my tips on the way I style metallic pieces.

Here I'm using a gunmetal sequin skirt as my metallic piece. The best way to style such a strong piece like a metallic mini is by mixing it with neutrals. I paired the gunmetal sequin skirt with a neutral toned, baby pink top and wedges. I prefer to wear metallics at night time but this piece could easily be worn during the day with some flats and a light coloured, oversize jumper.
For makeup, I went pretty simple with a basic smokey eye and some nude pink lips.
I topped off the outfit with some matching bracelets and silver polish.
I hope these tips helped you if your thinking about joining in on the metallic clothing trend this winter!

JANUARY AND FEBRUARY GLOSSYBOX!

Hey girls,
I wanted to share with you all what I received in my January and February GLOSSYBOX! As you probably already know, GLOSSYBOX is a monthly subscription box where you pay just $14.95 a month to have 5 luxury travel size beauty products delivered to your door! Now I'm not just talking to the Australians here as GLOSSYBOX is available in 18 different countries so take a look at their website to see if you can get your hands on this box, chances are that you probably can! Now onto what I recieved in my January box..
First thing I noticed when I eagerly tore open the box was the Aussie looking temporary tattoos. They were added because Australia Day is in January and I thought it was such a cute touch to add them! As you can tell from the little overview this was an awesome box!
As usual, the box came with a handy little card to help walk you through all of the goodies included for this month. This month was packed with goodies to make your outer beauty glow consisting of moisturisers for your face and body as well as lip and nail products.
Sheer Cover Lip Gloss (Valued at $19.95)
A full sized item is always great to see and any lip products are guaranteed to get me excited! This is something perfect to throw into your purse to have on the go to add a bit of shine and moisture to your lips. Something to think about is that this one product alone is valued at more than the box costs, making GLOSSYBOX great value!
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color (Valued at $13.95)
I was so happy this was included in the January box because I have been wanting to try out this Sally Hansen range for a while now and what made me even happier is that it was in a neutral baby pink shade which is my most worn colour due to my school dress code.
Sheer Cover Nourishing Moisturizer (Valued at $29.95 for 60ml)
Considering the full sized bottle of this is 60ml and the sample received is 30ml, I think it's safe to say that this is definitely a luxury sample sized item! From the same brand as the lip gloss, I can't wait to try this out!
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair (Valued at $105 for 30ml or $150 for 50ml)
Great to see an Estee Lauder product in here as I'm a huge fan of the brand! This is a really prestigious and pricey anti-aging product so I'm really impressed that this was included in the January box.
Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Moisturizer (Valued at $5.40 for 250ml or $7.99 for 400ml)
Always great to have a could sample sized moisturizers to throw in your purse, have at your work desk or to bring when traveling.

Let's take a look at what was in the February GLOSSYBOX...
Totally Valentines Day themed, pink box and all! GLOSSYBOX went all out on the February box, celebrating the holiday of love with so many cute touches including a pink love heart sticker, pink and white shredded paper, hot pink mailer and reusable box!
Even the card was themed with cute love hearts! It's easy to tell that so much effort went into making the February box themed and perfect for Valentines Day!
Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balm (Valued at $8.99)
A full sized product and from a well credited lip care brand, probably my favourite item in this months box!
Proactive Deep Cleansing Wash (Valued at $39.95 for 475ml)
A generous sized sample of a great face wash I have heard so many good things about! I have tried proactive in the past and from what I recall the products worked well but were expensive so it's great to get such a good amount of product to try out.

Star and Rose Emergency Nail Files
I have lost count over the amount of times I have been rummaging in my bag, praying for a nail file. It is the most annoying feeling to have a hang nail or not be able to save a nail that has a a bit of a tear in it so I can tell that these are perfect little life savers for those situations.
Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil with Rosehip (Valued at $9.99 for 60ml or $17.99 for 150ml)
To me this looks very similar to Bio Oil and I'm a huge fan of Palmer's skin care so I'm excited to try out this new product.
Face of Australia Mineral Lip Shine (Valued at $12.95)
I think it's really impressive to receive a FOA product in this box because this is something I would usually go out and buy. The quality and selection is always amazing with FOA and I was very impressed with this lipstick.

Lastly, some adorable love heart candy was included, I think it's great to add something sweet like this and it adds a bit of fun to the box.

In my opinion, GLOSSYBOX is my favourite monthly subscription service as I am continually impressed in their selection of products each month, introducing a diverse range of brands and beauty items. I will continue to be excited every month anticipating what will be in my box.

APRIL BEAUTY BLOGGER

The beauty blogger for April is Kelsey from Kelsey Loves Cosmetics! Kelsey only started blogging two months ago but has already established a credible beauty site perfect when searching for reviews, makeup and nail looks! I asked her a few questions about blogging, makeup and fashion so keep reading to find out more about her and her blog!
What inspired you to begin blogging?
What first inspired me to begin blogging was my passion for makeup and beauty that I have always had. I wanted to share it with the world for so long, but wasn't sure how, or if anyone would enjoy what I had to say. I decided to try it out, and it has been such an amazing experience ever since! People are so kind and I love to share that passion I have with other people who share the same one.
How would you describe the clothes you wear?
I would describe the clothes I wear as mainly comfortable on the weekdays when I work. I like to wear jeans and cute tee's to work, then on the weekends, casual but yet stylish. I love to always have an element of comfort in all of my outfits and still be able to look cute and put together.

How would you describe your makeup style?
I would describe my makeup style as effortless and natural. I love to wear neutrals, maybe too much! I don't always like to seem as if I spent ten hours on my makeup, even if I did! Occasionally I enjoy playing with lighter colors too, such as pinks and lilacs. I try to keep myself from looking too overdone. If I go out to an event though, I enjoy a bit more of a dramatic look, where I play with different colors and styles.
When your not blogging, what do you enjoy doing with your time?
When I'm not blogging I enjoy spending my time outdoors. I love to walk, hike, swim, and anything that allows me out into the fresh air! Summer is my favorite time of the year because it is when I can do these things. During the winter, I'm a workaholic, but when I'm not working, I love reading a good book. I'm also a big movie fan. Scary and comedy movies are my favorite! I could watch them all day :)
Beauty products you couldn't live without and why?
The beauty products I couldn't live without are mainly foundation and eyeliner. Foundation helps me cover up all my imperfections. I have always had a bit of rosacea and the right amount of foundation helps me conceal that and gives me confidence that I lack without it. I also can't live without eyeliner! I love how it gives me a fuller lash line, even without mascara. I always have to line my top lash line with a liquid liner during my daily makeup routine. It completes every look!

Do you have any Easter traditions?
My Easter traditions are basic, but I enjoy them every year. Since I was little, my whole family would get together at my grandmothers and have a huge dinner and an egg hunt with some small gifts exchanged. Two years ago, my grandmother moved away and now just my immediate family stays together at my house for the same traditions. We don't do anything out of the ordinary, but they complete every Easter.
Thank you to Kelsey for being my April Beauty Blogger!!
Please check out her blog sometime.
