REVIEW: FURLESS PURPLE POWER BRUSHES SET

I am very excited to be reviewing the Purple Power Brush Set from the amazing 100% cruelty free and Australian company, Furless!

Most importantly, all brushes and cosmetics that Furless sell are 100% cruelty free and vegan meaning that these are synthetic brushes and no animals were harmed to make them. There are many benefits of synthetic brushes including that they are softer, last longer, don't get course or dry out and you can use them with both cream and powder products.

I have had absolutely no fall out with any of these brushes which is amazing! Also, when washing these brushes, none of the colour runs from them. A huge plus as some brushes I have an issue with.

This set is perfect for starting out as it contains all the face and eye brushes you will need to apply a full face of makeup. This set is also really great for traveling as it's very compact but includes all of the brushes you would need. It retails for $49.95 which is an amazing deal for such great quality brushes!
Large Powder Brush
This is a very versatile brush, perfect for pressed powders, mineral translucent setting powders and even bronzer.. Since it's so large it evenly distributes all of the product very well.

Angled Contour Brush
This is not only perfect for contouring but it's also great for blushing and highlighting as it's angled bristles help to give a more precise application.

Foundation Brush
This is a great basic foundation brush which helps apply the product very evenly without streaking.

Angled Fluffy Eyeshadow Brush
great crease brush for a perfect blended crease look

Angled Liner Brush
A perfect shape to get a really precise line. It creates perfect, straight eyeliner lines and is great for starting out of gel liner. powder products to set eyeliner.

Small Eyeshadow/Concealer Brush
A great base eyeshadow brush as it's flatness helps to pack on colour.  I haven't tried this brush out for concealer yet but I can imagine it would do a great job at that as well, especially under eye concealer due to it's shape.

Fluffy Eyeshadow brush
A brush perfect for working on the crease as it blends out colours really well.

Lip Brush
This brush is awesome because you can take the end off and pop it on top to act as a protective case for the lip product you have applied onto the brush. This is great if you are off to an event with only a very small clutch and can't fit a chunky lipstick in there as the lip brush compacts down to a very slim tube.

REVIEW: ESSENCE GEL LINER

I tried out this gel liner after hearing so many beauty bloggers rave about how creamy it was! I was hesitant because I was using the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner and loved it so didn't feel like anything would compare but I am so happy I decided to give it a go! It is by far the creamiest gel liner I have ever used and it's so easy to work with! Not to mention how unexpectedly amazing the quality is because it's quite a cheap product.

Pigmentation:
The pigmentation of this gel eyeliner is absolutely amazing! With only one coat of the product you can achieve a completely opaque line. It is perfect for the upper lash line when creating a winged liner effect.

Colour & Consistency:
This is by far the blackest and creamiest gel liner I have ever used. Unlike some other liners, it applies as dark as it looks in the pot. It's so easy to work with because of it's smooth texture but despite being a smooth formulation, it doesn't crease or fade.

Packaging & Price:
The packaging is a glass jar with plastic screw lid which is really convenient and great quality.

I'm sure you will love this eyeliner but your not taking a huge risk because even if you don't it's under $10.

You can purchase all Essence products, including this gel eyeliner from Priceline and Target.

REVIEW: CHI CHI "PARTY PRINCESS" 8 NAIL POLISH SET

I recently picked up the Chi Chi "Party Princess" Salon Formula 8 Nail Set on the Boxing Day sales, paying only $13 instead of $20. Considering each nail polish worked out to be $2.50 (full price, not even including the discount) I wasn't expecting much quality wise but thought the pastels were gorgeous for Summer and worth trying out. I was happily surprised to find that all of the colours are extremely pigmented and only take 1-2 coat/s to achieve a fully opaque colour on the nail!

The colour selection of pastel shades are absolutely amazing and very comparable to the pastel range that Face Of Australia released at the beginning of Spring. There is not one shade that I don't absolutely adore! The two bling shades are great glitter top coats, perfect for an accent nail. The gold matches all of the pastel colours and the purple looks good over the pastel purple. The only polish from the whole set that I don't absolutely adore is the purple glitter because it doesn't really put a lot of glitter on your nails like the gold does.

Don't let the price fool you, these nail polishes are full sized with 11g of product in each bottle. Every Myer would have them discounted to $13 which means that each nail polish works out to be only $1.60! That is more than half price a BYS nail polish which are generally known as some of the cheapest on the market and aren't as great quality as these Chi Chi ones are.
I think this was a holiday edition set but it is definitely worth checking out your local Myer to see if they still
have some stock because mine has a few left.

BOXING DAY HAUL

Revlon Summer Sunset Set
This Set was $34.95 which is a good deal anyway but it was further reduced to $24.46! Such an amazing deal for a lip product, eyeshadow quad, nail polish and coin purse from Revlon! Considering Lip Butters are $22, Revlon eyeshadow quads are usually $25 and Revlon nail polishes are usually $12, the set is worth at least $60 including the purse. I was tempted to buy this set for myself full price so was so happy to see the amazing deal even further reduced!

Chi Chi 8 Nail Polish Set
I was so close to buying this set when it was $20 because it meant that each nail polish was only $2.50 each but I got this further reduced to $13 so each nail polish was only $1.60 which is so cheap for a good quality nail polish! I love all of the colours in there and thought they were perfect for summer.

Peter Alexander "Dare To Bear" Bloomer PJ Shorts
These are the cutest PJ shorts ever! Sooo comfortable and great for lounging in. These were reduced from $35.90 to $20.

Peter Alexander Pink and Green Spotty PJ Shorts
These are almost as comfortable as the bear ones and equally as cute :) They were originally $35.90 and reduced to $20 as well.

*All Lush was 50% off*
Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub ($5.40)
Lush  Captain Bubblebeard Bubble Bar ($4.50)
Lush Cinders Bath Ballistic ($2.60)
Lush Christmas Eve Bubble Bar ($3.25)
Lush Christmas Cracker Bath Ballistic ($4.50)

Forever New Fluro Yellow Necklace
I love the colour of this and it was marked as $20 but came down to $10.

Forever New Fluro Yellow Bracelets
I love these two thin fluro bracelets and they were really cheap marked as $8 but came down to $4.

Forever New Rose Gold Cuff
I have been loving rose gold recently so thought this cuff was adorable, it was marked as $10 but came down to $5! So cheap for such a pretty and versatile accessory :)

Famous Footwear Sparkly Flats
You can never have too many flats and I saw these really cute sparkly brown ones for only $15 and couldn't resist.

Temt Blue Peplum Dress
I saw this dress for $15 and thought it was really cheap for such a nice dress! I love the peplum style and the colour is really different to anything else I have.

I adore anything hot pink so couldn't resist this adorable peplum top for only $7.50!

Ice Purple and Green Tops
I bought these tops on a 2 for $20 deal and thought they would be cute for layering or putting over a bikini since they are so sheer and can't be worn alone.

These weren't on sale but they were so cute, I couldn't pass them up. I think they were $30 or $35.

I hope you all got some great Boxing Day sales as well :)
