DIOR ADDICT FLUID STICKS REVIEW

I hope your purses are at the ready girls, be prepared to fall in love with this time-saving purse essential. The Dior Addict Fluid Stick's are the best hybrid between lipgloss and lipstick that I have seen yet, so much so that I would call this product revolutionary. It provides intense colour pigmentation deeper than half of the lipsticks I own but is finished with a stunning shine as if you had applied both a lipstick and a gloss.

WHAT'S IN MY LUST HAVE IT BOX {SEPTEMBER}

I have a monthly subscription to Lust Have It and their fashion spin off FAB Box but I realised that I rarely share with you all what I receive in them. The concept behind Lust Have It is that you pay a monthly subscription fee of $19.95 and receive a box full of 5-6 products whether they be a deluxe sample or a full sized product. I want to start posting unboxings each month since the past few that I have received have surprised me with their fantastic products. This box is no exception with some incredible full-sized items in here let's get into it.

SPRING/SUMMER FASHION - TALULAH COLLECTION OVERVIEW

Spring has sprung so the time for gorgeous fashion is here and no one does it quite as well as Talulah. After viewing their offerings for this new season my fashion wishlist immediately grew as I felt as if this collection was the perfect balance of glamour and wearability.

First up we have the stunning floral one piece pictured above which incorporates the theme of Spring but subtly enough for it not to be overpowering. I love that the base colour is black and the flowers and a white and pastel so it's less casual than if it were white. The bell shaped skirt is a flirty cut and the length makes it modest.

PASTRIES AND PRESENTS - SCRUNCH BLOGGER BREAKFAST

The Kitty located in Treasury Casino Brisbane turned from bar to breakfast location for a gorgeous blogger event hosted by Scrunch last week. I was in my element surrounded by fellow Brisbane fashion bloggers and media persons, chatting everything fashion over croissants and chocolates. Located just across from South Bank, it's one of my favourite locations and was the perfect way to start my morning. I have been wanting to incorporate a lot more lifestyle into my blog lately so please enjoy some snaps I took from the gorgeous event.

CANDY CORALS AND HOT PINKS- SPRING LIP PRODUCTS

Spring has sprung and if there's one thing I'm excited for it's the bright lip colours that I can now pull out from the back of my draws and wear without hesitation. This autumn and winter I've been waring out the dusty pinks, burgundy's, berry's and nudes so I'm excited at the thought on slapping on a hot pink or flirty coral. In this post I'm going to be showing you some of my favourites for the season in preparation of changing up the vanity essentials for the brighter and warmer weather. With a lot of these products I have posted full reviews on them so it is indicated where you can check out the reviews if you're interested to learn more about the shade. So keep reading to learn more or you can watch the video here.

PREMIUM PERFECTION

When it comes to body treatments I'm all over them...or they're all over me, either one. They are the perfect way of treating yourself to something luxurious as a mid-week pick me up or to help wind down on the weekend. Premium Spa are one of my go-to brands for that sort of purpose since they have such an array of products to choose from that each treatment is completely different and the variety makes it much more exciting. From butters to scrubs and balms to masks, Premium Spa have you covered!

HYDRALURON HYPE

So you have probably heard of Hydraluron by now and all of the hype surrounding it. It seemed to pop up out of nowhere and suddenly appear on every blog and on every store shelf. Being extremely curious about this product I have collected all of the products from the quickly expanding range; what started out as just the tube of gel is now one among many with new masks, exfoliators and more added to the Hydra family. Hydraluron products, in general, are supposed to increase skin's hydration level and minimise the need for frequent topical moisturising. This increase in moisture levels has been shown to increase skin elasticity and reduce surface roughness. How do they do this you ask? Well the miracle ingredient in all Hydraluron products is the purest form of hyaluronic acid, which can hold 1000 times its weight in water therefore allowing intense moisturising of the skin...pretty crazy. So perhaps you have walked past the brightly packaged ranges from Indeed Labs and wondered how good the product is inside, well in this post I am going to be answering exactly that and letting you know my thoughts on the entire Hydraluron range.

SKINCARE WEEK

Skincare; an essential part of any woman's skincare routine and yet often underestimated. I talk so much about makeup and beauty here on Jordy's Beauty Spot and although I have delved into skincare numerous times, it's nowhere near the amount I discuss foundations and lipsticks. The truth is that without a good skincare routine in place it doesn't matter which foundation you use because the aspect that will make the biggest difference is keeping your skin healthy. That way the foundation that goes over the top has a nice base to work with. Skincare and makeup go hand in hand and that is why this week we will be celebrating "Skincare Week" where each day a new review of a skincare item will be ready for your viewing.

ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR FOUNDATION REVIEW

If you have been following my blog or YouTube for a little while then you would have picked up on that I usually stick to one foundation, that being the Chanel Mat Lumiere. Each time I have strayed from that holy grail foundation I have regretted it by being disappointed about how it has worked on my skin. Most of them have been drugstore ones so I haven't minded too much but I thought it was about time I gave another high end foundation a go. I decided to take the plunge and finally try out the Estee Lauder Double Wear after hearing so much hype surrounding it. I started off with a small sample and at first didn't like it because it was so different to anything I have tried but it quickly grew on me.

CHETCUTI OVERVIEW - MERCEDES BENZ FASHION FESTIVAL

If there's one thing I look forward to most about Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival each year, it's the gorgeous gowns! It's not everyday that you get to see dresses fit for princesses paraded around in a majestic show. This year Chetcuti delivered; sequins, feathers, beads and all. I thought it would be only rude not to share all of these incredible designs that I witnessed saunter down the runway.

Starting off with the finale dress because I'm pretty sure my jaw hit the floor when this particular design appeared from behind the curtains. The beaded and crystal encrusted bodice style top is extraordinary. With the sweetheart cut and chunky crystal straps, this dress screams glamour. The puffy tulle train was like something out of Barbie and The Nutcracker (one of my favourite movies as a kid). Paired with a stunning floral headpiece and a crystal encrusted neck piece, this was definitely the look that stole the show.
