Behind The Desk - March 2019 - Bali, Airlie Beach, RHCP, Arctic Monkeys + Uni

Hello! Long-time no talk! After doing a whole heap of travelling last month, March has been all about settling into a routine for 2019 that is going to assist me in achieving all those huge goals I set out for this year. 

I’m so excited to sit down and recap on how my travels went and other things I’ve been up to lately! I’m divulging a detailed run-down of both Bali and Airlie Beach in upcoming features providing ‘The Ultimate Guide’ to those destinations but I’ll also be sharing a quick overview in this update.

We're now a month into the season and let me assure you, there has been a crazy amount of Spring cleaning and working out for Summer going on.

So I thought I would share my current playlist with you all to give you a bit of music inspiration to get you going when it comes to housework or working out.

We have a huge mix of songs in here; some brand new releases, others old school hits. These are just the songs that put me in a great mood and motivate me when I'm on the move.

Something else I love to do is listen to Audio books or Podcasts while I'm cleaning or working out so I might also share them at a later date if you are interested.

Lana Del Rey 'Lust For Life' Album Review

So Lana dropped her new album and I obviously lost my damn mind because every Lana album is a piece of art. But this one well and truly exceeded expectations, releasing her best album yet. 

Lana's work consistently conveys elements of nostalgia, mixing the old with the new and relying on her vocal range for a unique sound rather than pushing loud and powerful notes which separates her from other artists such as Adele. This alternative sound has adapted through the years as she tried different styles but you can undoubtedly spot a Lana song despite the genre she is playing with because she always makes it her own. Lyrical themes follow; sex, drugs, rock and roll, patriotism, love (often going wrong) and an internal struggle to find happiness.
