These nail polishes are so good I threw away all my others. No seriously, I did!

Okay so it may have something to do with my new venture into a minimal lifestyle but it was mainly to do with these nail polishes being so damn good they are the only ones I want to use from now on.

GET A SALON MANICURE ON A BUDGET

As much as I love going to the salon to get my nails done, what I love even more is the convenience of giving myself a top notch long-lasting manicure using amazing products. 

I used to struggle with getting my nail colour to last where I would find it chipping only a day or so after I painted my nails! I realised that I wasn't actually doing anything to ensure my manicure was long lasting - all I was doing was slapping the colour on.

I have since realised the importance of a good base coat and top coat to go with your colour of choice and will be talking you through my 3-step manicure process today. It's simple but seriously effective - I can have these manicures last nearly 2 weeks!

HELLO SUMMER

Today in the southern hemisphere we are welcoming in the Summer season, so to celebrate I have already posted about my favourite Summer nail polish colours and now I'm going to share with you a warmer weather inspired flat lay. I'm not going to go into these products in too much depth because most of them are included in my Summer Essentials video and blog post, going live this Thursday (keep an eye out).

SUMMER NAIL POLISH FAVOURITES

I am a huge nail polish fanatic and am particularly in love with summer nail shades so I thought what better way to bring in the new season than with my favourite lacquers to paint on my fingers, and there's no denying that I definitely have a many favourites. Just because these are my Summer favourites is not to say that these particular colours aren't appropriate to wear any other time but moreso highlighting how perfect they are for the warmer weather and how I picture them against a tan, on a summer holiday or at the beach.

NAIL POLISH COLLECTION

Okay so this has been highly requested ever since I changed my YouTube background and you can see them all sitting behind me so I figured that I would finally do my nail polish collection! I'm going to be going through every single nail polish in this collection and it took me so long that I had to split my nail polish collection into two parts!

The way that I have my nail polishes stored is two multi-layers and somewhat colour co-ordinated into colour groups to make finding nail polishes easier. I forgot to mention it in the video but if you couldn't tell, I actually use DVDs to prop up my second layer on nail polishes. It's not fancy but it definitely works! Autumn has finally arrived for us Aussies and despite how much I love the warmer months, it's time for a break from the scorching heat that is Summer! With this comes new nail polish options, transitioning from the brights and pastels to the glitters and dark colours. So I put together my Top 5 Autumn Nail Polishes to share with you all and hopefully give you some seasonal nail inspiration. These are colours that I would choose if I could only wear 5 nail polishes for the whole season so it's safe to say that I love them all to death. So in no particular order, I present to you my top 5...

Pigmentation: With all of these nail polishes, they go on extremely smooth and pigmented, such a good colour payoff that you only need two coats for a completely opaque nail colour! 

Application: Goes on so smooth and applies beautifully. They feel like great quality and result in a smooth and beautiful finish.

Drying time: Quite a quick dry nail polish range only taking about 8 minutes for a completely dry nail or with the help of quick dry drops, only 4 minutes!

Longevity: They are also very long wearing and don't chip nearly as quickly as most nail polishes do. You will definitely get your moneys worth as these polishes will last on your nails for at least 5 days without a top coat, probably over a week with a top coat.  

Affordability:  These are definitely very affordable as they are currently on sale for $7.80 each or you can buy the whole range of five in a set for $34.45!

Packaging: Very extravagant thick glass bottle with a glamorous reflective top that looks amazing sitting on a vanity.
