REVIEW: I LOVE...STRAWBERRIES AND MILKSHAKE

Hey girls,
So I recently featured a new bath products range called "I Love..." in my November Favourites video and got asked a lot of questions about it so I decided to do a review on the products telling you my thoughts, reactions and experience to help you decide if you would like to try this new brand out also. I ran out of my Lush "Snow Fairy" shower gel that I picked up from the holiday collection last year so I was on the lookout for a new body wash/bubble bath/shower gel. I decided to branch out from Lush and stop myself from going there until I'm ready to do my Lush Christmas collection shopping so I went to The Body Shop to check out their Christmas scents. Nothing really jumped out at me at The Body Shop so I proceeded to wander into Myer and was on my way to the Burts Bees counter when I came across these gorgeous coloured bottles which also smelled so amazing and I mistook for Philosophy, needless to say...I was in love! So first off, let's just talk about the resemblance between this "I Love..." brand and "Philosophy" because I don't believe this is coincidental!

I thought I would do a comparison between the two so the first image is the "I Love..." brand and the second image is "Philosophy". They both have the same shaped bottle and nearly the identical scent and colour! "I Love..." is $12 (AUD) $12.31 (US) for 500ml and "Philosophy" is $15.60 (AUD) $16 (US) for 448ml. For my Aussie readers, keep in mind that if we did have Philosophy here it would probably be sold at a higher RRP than in America so the "I Love..." brand would be a much cheaper option for Aussies but only a slightly less expensive alternative for Americans.
My face in this screenshot is hilarious but I don't have a picture of the product and wanted to be able to show you what the actual item looks like.
Lather: The lather isn't incredibly impressive but it is a lot better than most body washes I have tried and manages to lather a fair bit when used with a loofah, wash cloth or brush.
Scent: The smell is gorgeous and exactly how the bottle describes it. Straight up strawberries, sugar and milk.
Price: This body wash is a steal for $12! I have used way more expensive products that aren't nearly as good.
Quantity: 500ml is a lot of body wash so it will last you a fair few months. I wouldn't say a little goes a long way but you don't need too much of this product for it to serve it's purpose.
Packaging: The packaging is simple to use, easy to open cap, basic plastic bottle.
I will be the first to admit I definitely do not need any more lip treatments, moisturizers balms or anything similar! I have draws full of the stuff so I don't know why I didn't stop myself from buying this but I am glad the little lip gloss lover in me took over because I have found a great use for this lip product and it has become part of my nightly beauty regime!
Consistency: I love the consistency because it glides on so smooth and not sticky at all. It seems to really moisturize and nourish the lips well.
Scent: The smell is gorgeous and exactly how the pot describes it. Straight up strawberries, sugar and milk. I love that when i combine the body wash with the lip balm, it smells all the same!
Price: $7.50 for a lip balm may seem on the expensive side but it is worth the money.
Quantity: This is quite a large pot and contains a seriously large amount of lip balm. This will seriously last you months even with daily use!
Packaging: The packaging is something I dislike because I generally dislike using pots due to the hygiene factor but I deal with this by using it after my shower when I'm all clean and as a night time lip treatment.

Thank you so much for reading my review on the "I Love..." Strawberries and Milkshake range, I hope you enjoyed and found this useful.

I agree, the first thing I also noticed about this brand is how similar thier packaging is to Philosophy. I have their lipbalm in Blueberry and something and I think it<s really great and yummy!
