REVIEW: LANCOME GENIFIQUE GIFT SET ♥

I know what you're probably thinking; why on earth am I worried about anti-aging while still in my teen years and the truth is that it's never too early to start and I personally find anti-aging skincare to be of the highest quality in comparison to general skincare. A lot more time and effort goes into formulating these miracle serums than it does a usual moisturiser so that's why I adore trying out anti-aging products.

No exception to the high standard of quality, Lancome is a leader in the anti-aging field, offering an extremely advanced skincare line which achieves exceptional results. Lets take a look more closely at two particular branches of their skincare; Genifique and Visionnaire, both of which are included in this particular gift set that I have.

Lancome Genifique Youth Activator (30ml)
With an apparent ten years of research that has gone into this include 1300 proteins analyzed and 4400 genes studied. This is an evolution of skincare that has perfected the formula to keep your skin looking youthful for longer by slowing down the aging process. See, I told you a lot of time and effort goes into these products. The hype behind serums is that they are known as the quickest way of delivering moisture and therefore results to the skin due to their easily absorbable formulation. Another great reason to pick up a bottle of this is it's wonderful magic that preps the skin for flawless makeup application, leaving a smooth and evened surface of skin as a base. I like to think of it as the Benefit Porefessional of the skincare world because noone said skincare isn't able to cross over to your makeup routine.

The price point for this one is between $100 and $120 but will of course increase if a larger quantity (available in 15ml-100ml) is sought. Considerably, it's a very luxurious item that is certainly worth the investment particularly because of it's easily absorbed formula and multi-use.

Lancome Genifique Yeux Youth Activating Eye Concentrate (15ml)
This rejuvenating night cream actually revives the activity of genes responsible for repairing the skin's barrier function of course resulting in smooth and supple skin. The other amazing outcome of  Lancome take into consideration the gentle under eye area and therefore this product merges the Genifique-Technology with Buckwheat-Extract and even adds the special touch of a refreshing gel texture.

The price point for this 15ml product is between $70-$90 but will of course increase if a larger quantity (available in 15ml-100ml) is sought. So it is quite pricy but definitely worth it due to it's effective results and the fact that a little bit goes a long way.

Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector (7ml)
Another high-tech formula (yeah never thought you would hear that in skincare did you), especially effective absorbing into the skin is this second serum from Lancome specifically designed as a skin corrector. This miracle in a bottle is perfect if you have uneven skin tone, texture, pores, fine lines or a mixture of those common skin issues. The other great thing about serums, other than that they absorb quickly, is that they can be layered in order to achieve quicker and more effective results on specific parts of your skin.

The price point for this one is between $70-$90, similar to the others it's quite pricy but definitely worth it.

Lancome products are available at a selection of stores, depending on where you live, these include: Harrods, Myer, David Jones and of course online.
