SEPTEMBER HER FASHION BOX

I was so excited to receive the September Her Fashion Box after a Google beauty event in Sydney and wanted to share with you all what was in my box! If you're not sure how HFB works, it's a monthly subscription box for $39.95 and includes 2-3 on trend fashion accessories along with 3-4 leading beauty products based on which of the 3 variations you chose; classic, feminine or trendy. I believe that this is the classic box but even within that you will find variations from box to box between shades, types of metal and designs. So keep reading to find out what was included in the September Classic Her Fashion Box.

The largest item included this month is this gorgeous black leather, gold studded clutch. It comes with a detachable chain inside perfect if you are attending an event where holding it as a clutch would be impractical. Of course you can also just hold it as a clutch and it looks great but I personally love the versatility of having the option to choose between holding it or carrying it on your shoulder. I also love the gold hardware as it makes it look very put together and expensive looking. I would definitely pay up to $30 for something like this so receiving it as part of this box for $39.95 along with other items seems like a great deal to me.
The first of two jewellery items included in the September box is this gorgeous silver dress ring. I love the detail and thick band of it, making for a perfect statement ring that I would definitely wear. It's perfect for Spring because of it's light colouring and I always love accessorizing with silver around this time of year. This ring also came in gold and rose gold.
The second piece of jewellery included is this months box is this chain bracelet with an engraver plate, definitely in style at the moment. This is a very trendy piece that would be a great accessory to dress up any casual Spring outfit. Similarly to the ring, I love silver for the Spring time as it's very light and fresh. Also this ring came in gold and rose gold too.
For the first of the beauty products I received two Maybelline Color Show nail polishes. Being a Maybelline Beauty Vlogger I have tried the entire range of these and love the formulation, I think the colour choices were great as it gave some variation with the dark and light options. The pastel lilac (310 Iced Queen) I received would be absolutely perfect for Spring and the black (430 Onyx Rush) is a staple in any nail polish collection.
The last two makeup items included were two products from Designer Brands; a Chubby Lipstick Crayon and a Black Eyeliner with a sharpener top. A brand that is great value for money, it's great to try out some products that I otherwise would look past while scouting for new makeup to try out. The black eyeliner is of course a basic and very versatile for everyday use while the Chubby Lipstick Crayon looks lovely and it would be interesting to see how they compare to the Clinique Chubby Sticks.
Lastly, there was a skincare product in here being the LonVitalite C2 Mask. I'm a huge fan of sheet masks so I was excited to receive this in my box, I feel like they are such a pampering thing and make for a relaxing experience. You may see an upcoming collaboration with LonVitalite in the near future on my blog.

Overall, my thoughts on this box are very high! I think that the jewellery pieces chosen to go into this box are basics that you will get lots of use out of so they are foolproof accessories that match a lot of outfits. A lot of great beauty products were also included which I think are very wearable and items you would get good use out of. A skincare product thrown in for extra measure is also a nice treat so I think that the balance of fashion and beauty in this box is perfect.
