MARCH FAVOURITES 2014 ♥

So here I am with my monthly favourites post, letting you know about all of the products I loved in March! This month has a mixture of products, primarily makeup but also including a bit of skin care so keep reading to find out more about all of these fantastic products.

Essence Match 2 Cover! Cream Concealer
Knowing it's from Essence we know what an affordable product it is and this concealer duo includes two different shades. I find the lighter colour to be perfect for concealing under eye circles while I haven't yet found a use for the darker colour although it could work for cream shading as it's not dark enough for contouring. If you're looking for a very light and extremely high coverage concealer then this is the one, not only at an affordable price but also great quality. This is an essential for university after a long night staying up working on assignments. A higher end alternative to a great under eye concealer that I also loved in March is Benefit Fake Up. If you aren't familiar with this product it's actually an extremely moisturising concealer that includes the product in the middle with a coating on moisturise concealing the product so that it's very moisturising when you blend it in.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
I love BB Creams so much because I feel like they are an amazing alternative to cakey foundation. Before using this BB Cream I was using the Garnier one but found that it dried out my skin whereas this one moisturises, this probably comes down to the fact that it has less alcohol in it.

MAC "Candy Yum Yum" and Australis "Mali-Boo" Velour Lips
This is such a fun favourite for March, I have been very daring and bold with my lip colours so have been enjoying these hot pink lip products. After losing MAC Candy Yum Yum in Melbourne not last time I went for Fashion Festival but the month earlier, I thought it was too much of a gorgeous colour to not repurchase so I went out and bought it again. The cheaper alternative is Australis Velous Lips in Mali-Boo as they are really comparable in regards to colour and I have been really enjoyed this product as well. However, I have found that Candy Yum Yum is very long lasting while Mali-Boo is dry and sometimes doesn't sit well on the lips so the consistency is very different between the two.

Benefit Gimme Brow
I don't often find eyebrow products that I love so much and that would explain why you have probably never seen me mention an eyebrow product in my favourites. Nevertheless, I have fallen in love with Benefit Gimme Brow and am particularly intrigued with how it not only fills in your brows with colour but also extends your eyebrow hairs with little microfibers. I naturally have quite thin and sparse lashes so whena  product like this comes along that increases the volume of your eyebrow hairs, you know that I will be right on it. I'm pretty fair and light haired but I use the shade "light/medium" and it works perfectly on me so I don't think you will find issues with colour matching despite there only being two options. I will definitely be writing up a full in-depth review of this product so look out for that.

Indeed Labs Retinol Reface
This next item is an incredible skincare product by Indeed Labs, the same company that creates Hydraluron which is also fantastic. This particular product combines 3 different forms or retinol to deliver softer, smoother looking skin while targeting the appearance of crow's feet, fine lines and wrinkles. So I don't use it for the anti-aging aspects but I find that the moisturising side of this product is incredible for rejuvenating my skin and increasing elasticity, plumpness and overall softness.

Premium Spa "Lemon Butter" Scrub
This next product is quite miscellaneous and it's because I don't generally talk about body scrubs but since I have fallen in love with this particular one and use it every single day, I thought that I better mention it. I can not go a shower or a bath without this stuff, it's a pretty awesome salt based scrub. It's from the company Premium Spa which is really accessible and affordable from Priceline. I love the relaxing, calming, natural scent full of moisturising and nourishing natural oils.

So those are all of the favourite products that I have to share with you from March. Leave me a comment letting me know if you have tried any of these products and if you have, what did you think?

Thank you for reading ♥

Thank you! Definitely a fantastic colour but I'm so tempted to pick up the purple next time I'm in Priceline :) x
