2 NEW LOVES: LIME CRIME LIPSTICKS

My first Lime Crime lipstick was Geradium and it was love at first sight.

The stunning coral immediately attracted me towards their booth at IMATS and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the amazing colour wasn't the only great thing about these lipsticks. The formulation is incredibly smooth, providing lightweight opaque colour delivered by a silky and nourishing consistency.

May I just add that the limited edition packaging for their 6th anniversary has to be one of the most adorable things. The actual packaging of the bullet is completely the same to their usual, it's just the cardboard box that it comes in that is really unique and different. Then again, the traditional bright purple with sparkly unicorns is just as exciting.

These two colours could not be more opposite and that was intentional since I wanted to add some variation to my Lime Crime lipstick collection. Great Pink Planet is a creamy candy baby pink, comparable to MAC shades such as Saint Germain or Viva Glam Gaga. The difference is that this one is slightly darker in tone, making it a bit more wearable compared to those very light and bright pinks. This one can be worn layered up for intense pigment or lightly applied then spread out using your fingers for a more subtle wear.

Centrifuchsia is a deep raspberry red with purple undertones, making it a bold and daring lip colour perfect for Autumn. This shade has a shine to it but for extra drama you can layer it underneath a red tinted lipgloss such as the Dior Addict Fluid Stick.

From the swatches above you can tell that these colours aren't messing around, delivering rich and bold colour from both the pastel pink and raspberry red. The last thing I wanted to mention about these lipsticks is that they have the most divine vanilla scent to them that makes them such a pleasure to wear.

That concludes my little mini haul/first impressions/review post, I also picked up 2 Lime Crime Velvetines so look out for an upcoming post on them.
