I am absolutely obsessed with acai bowls and have to resist buying them otherwise it's all I would ever eat. 

At $12 or more a bowl, these are quite an expensive treat so I have perfected my at home recipe for a berry acai bowl. We all know that what we eat has a huge impact on our beauty; the health of our hair, strength of our nails and clearness of our skin. Acai is absolutely amazing for you and these bowls are packed with delicious fruits bursting with natural sugar, complex carbohydrates and proteins from the granola and you will be full for hours with the chia seeds that puff up. Read on for my berry banana crunch acai bowl recipe.

- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 ripe banana 
- 5 tbsp acai powder
- 1 dash coconut water
- Vanilla Almond Milk for texture
- 1/2 cup granola
- Chia seeds to top
- Blend together; frozen berries, frozen banana, acai powder, coconut water and vanilla almond milk.
- Add extra liquids for texture if necessary. Pour into a bowl.
- Top with ripe banana, granola and chia seeds.

It's really that simple and only takes about 5 minutes to whip this up in the morning. It tastes like eating sorbet or icecream for breakfast but it's really just fruit topped with some extra goodies.
