There’s something I need to get off my chest after much deliberation as of late. Recently I’ve been feeling stuck in a rut so things need to change around here! After coming back from travelling I was so inspired and full of ideas which was both good and bad.

On the upside, I feel so motivated to fill with incredible content that I am SO excited to write! On the downside, it has made me realise that the tough decision needed to be made to scrap all of the pre-scheduled content I had organised to go up over the next month. It just doesn’t tie into the vision I now have for the blog and I also don’t want to rush into things and just chuck up any old post for the sake of keeping content fresh.

So, it has led me to the decision to take the rest of the month as a break from posting content and spending that time preparing fresh new content to go live starting in April! I’m hoping in the next 10 days to focus on crafting quality posts that inspire me and writing that I feel giddy with excitement to share - because that’s what this platform has always been about! I don’t want to spoil anything but here’s a brief rundown of what to expect on once we’re back up and running…

Introducing new contributors
Over the past few months I have been in discussions with many potential guest contributors who can bring fresh new perspectives to the platform. I want this blog to represent a wider chunk of my demographic and having a variety of perceptions and outlooks is the perfect way to do this! So with the content re-launch will come a series of new contributors to the blog who will be writing guest articles moving forward – very exciting stuff! I have been contacted countless times over the past decade by upcoming bloggers or freelance writers looking to contribute to the platform!

New Series of Content
As mentioned, I have been really inspired to create some new content and some new series ideas are the result!

The Travel Diaries series will act as your go-to guide for holiday destinations. In each instalment of the series we will be looking at a new location and breaking down reviews of the local food, tourist attractions and fun activities you can do there. I still have to recap Bali and Airlie Beach. I also have some major travel plans in the works for the rest of this year.

Blogger Broadcast is a recently launched series that will continue to take shape, inspired by the release of my book ‘A 3 Step Guide to Turn Your Blog into a Career’. Blogger Broadcast is a blog series dedicated to helping build and grow your blog, YouTube channel and social media influence. Each instalment of this series will bring a new topic, dishing the dirt on everything you have always wanted to know about becoming a successful social media influencer and addressing pain points aspiring bloggers may be experiencing.

Behind The Desk will definitely stay as it is by far my most viewed series on the blog and I find it to be such an incredible way to catch up with you! I also find it extremely cathartic to remember and write through all of the things that I have been up to lately, because it’s so easy to get caught up and forget all the cool things I get to do or are working on at that time.

Building My Designer Capsule Wardrobe is a new series I can’t WAIT to implement because it involves purchasing luxury high end items and bringing together my first ‘designer’ wardrobe. As I am now 23 and most definitely an adult, I figured it was about time to invest in some designer basics that will act as the building blocks of my wardrobe. I’m slowly investing in Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci and other covetable brands with the intention of growing my collection of incredible quality fashion items that will last a lifetime. This is a series you do NOT want to miss because we will be talking through justification on why each item is classic and timeless, a review on my experience with the product, recommendations for sizing and colours etc. and many more details about building your own capsule wardrobe of designer basics.

I don’t want to give it all away so will leave some surprises for when I come back! I know it won’t be long but I’m going to miss you while I’m gone! But just you wait, I’ll be back and with content better than ever before you know it! In the meantime, you can keep in touch with me over on Instagram @JordyCannon
