GUIDE TO: THE PERFECT PAMPER NIGHT

We all have those rough days when we come home from work or school just simply exhausted and the best way to put a smile on my dial again is by treating myself to an hour or so of complete pampering. I'm going to let you girls in on what I do during a spa night that leaves me refreshed, replenished and once again back to my blissful self. Read on for a guide to the perfect pamper night...

Start off by running your bath using some delicious Lush products and lighting a couple of scented candles to create a relaxing environment. Have a couple of things to entertain you on hand such as your phone, iPad or magazines. You can even bring in a little fruit snack and some lemon water.
Next remove your makeup, don't skip out on this step because by wiping away your days foundation you are not only putting your rough day behind you but you're also doing a good deed for your skin by letting the steam open up your pores and breathe. I like starting off with a makeup remover wipe to remove any excess face makeup, followed by the L'Oreal eye and lip makeup remover to banish all of my eye makeup and finishing off with my face wash to deep cleanse my skin.
Nothing beats the feeling of freshly washed hair so don't forget to thoroughly shampoo and condition for that clean feel. I'm currently using the Schwarzkopf Marrakesh Oil & Coconut range and find the products to feel very luxurious on the hair, leaving me with a straight-out-of-the-salon feeling.
Go all out and pop on your most luxurious hair masque and oil for 10-15 minutes to deep condition your hair! I have been addicted to the Macadamia hair oil range for three years now and am still loving all of their products, especially their "deep repair masque" which leaves your hair feeling velvety smooth and delicious smelling. I also mix a bit of the "luxurious oil treatment" in with the masque and/or apply a bit after I get out of the bath and my hair is still damp.
If you don't usually complete a thorough skincare regime then this is a perfect opportunity to invest some extra time into your skin with the full cleanse, tone, mask and moisturise. I am currently using the Mary Kay Botanical Effects Skincare range and love it, if you would like to hear more about these products you can check out my video review and blog review.
Sometimes a hot bath can slightly dehydrate your skin so it's always a smart idea to slather yourself in a really thick and creamy moisturiser. I'm using a body créme which I normally wouldn't just because it is slightly unpleasant being sticky for the next half an hour or so while it soaks in but after all, that's what a pamper night is all about.
Give your lips some attention during pamper night to make them soft, smooth and kissable in just two steps. Firstly use a lip scrub, you can make a homemade one consisting of sugar and honey or use a store bought one like Lush's Popcorn Lip Scrub. Finish off with an intensive hydrating lip balm and your lips will be feeling softer and smoother than ever.
We don't often take the time out to give our hands some much needed TLC so use this pamper night as the perfect opportunity to scrub and moisturise your hands and feet! I love using the Mary Kay Satin Hands range because it is peach scented so smells absolutely delicious not to mention both products leave your hands feeling silky smooth.
After your hands are left soft and moisturised, finish them off by painting your nails because a gorgeous manicure and pedicure never fail to boost my mood. Give yourself the full treatment that you would receive if you went to the salon; buff, shape, oil and moisturise!
Now that we are fully pampered from head to toe; washed, scrubbed, moisturised and polished...it's time to relax! Light a candle, prepare a healthy fruit snack and gather a few fun reads to sit on the couch all snuggled up with a fluffy blanket. A bit decadent? Definitely but it's the perfect way to end such a relaxing and enjoyable night!

Great suggestions Jordy (: I have never tried a lip scrub; i only exfoliate my lips if i know I'm wearing lipstick that day lol! But I definitely should start doing that more often.
