KORRES LIP BUTTER REVIEW "JASMINE"

Lip balm is definitely an everyday essential for me to keep my lips hydrated and smooth since there is nothing worse than dry or cracked lips. Needless to say, I love a good lip balm and after seeing this Korres one on so many beauty blogs I thought it was about time I got my hands on it. As a huge EOS fan, I wasn't sure how this would compare especially because the application is much trickier but we will get to that later in the review.

A buttery lip balm that melts on the lips and offers a shiny, tinted finish. The combination of shea butter and rice wax offers deep hydration and softness, ideal for chapped lips.

Consistency
It really does have the consistency of butter in the way that it is hard in the tub but softens up once you rub your finger in the container and apply it to your lips.

Effectiveness
It is highly effective in the way that it nourishes and moisturises intensely and soaks into the lips rather than sits on the surface like a lot of lip balms do.

Application
Due to this product being in pot form, the only practical way to use it is to dip your finger in there and apply it directly to your lips. The only issue I have with this is that if I don't feel like I got enough on my lips, I hate going back for more because I don't want to contaminate the product. With EOS and a lot of other lip balms you can apply the product directly to your lips and I feel like that is slightly more hygienic.

Scent
The scent was totally unexpected because it smells nothing like Jasmine, as the name would have you believe. It smells like vanilla sugar and chocolate with a hint of caramel so it kind of reminds me of the Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub.
Price and Availability
This product retails for $17.62 and you receive a decent sized 6g tub. I can see this lip butter lasting me quite a long time so I would say the pricing is decent for the amount you get.

My overall thoughts are that this is an adorable lip balm to throw in your bag or have sitting on your vanity but it's definitely not a one handed solution like EOS or Chapstick. It's a luxury product with incredible results and leaves your lips feeling beautiful. I would highly recommend picking this up if you love lip balms because it's definitely worth giving a go.
