PALETTES WORTH THE PRICE

There is something so mesmerising about a nice palette that us girls just can not resist which is the exact reason why I have a ridiculous amount of them.

After testing and trying so many palettes on the market, I've come to the conclusion that price doesn't always guarantee quality and to not judge a book by it's cover. So I am starting this series of palettes worth the price because this is definitely the first post of many to come, showcasing fantastic offerings from an array of brands.

Urban Decay Naked Palette
This is a cult classic that consists of warm toned nudes with each colour complimenting one another. The versatile collection of colours allow for both night and day looks. Included are bright shimmery sand shades and light browns while on the other spectrum there are shimmery blacks and deep coppers. This is the perfect travel palette because it allows you to create multiple looks and transition from day to night.

MUA (Makeup Academy) "Undressed" Palette
Here we have an affordable palette that gives the Urban Decay Naked a run for it's money. With similar warm neutral shades as well as blacks and golds, this is definitely a cheaper alternative. Encased in a sleek and thin black palette that makes it perfect for travelling.

Chanel "22 Exaltes" Tio
This palette is an oldie but a goodie because I've had it for a couple of years now and it always serves me well as a travel trio; with pops of purple and green colours balanced out with a beautiful nude pink. You can create at least six different eye looks with just these three colours. As far as pigmentation and consistency go; they give great colour payoff and are a beautiful creamy formulation. The slight shimmer in all of the three shades makes them extremely wearable and easy to blend.

Revlon "505 Decadent" Quad
From the Colorstay range, this is a drugstore pick that definitely won't break the bank and is easily accessible. The perfect palette for any girl who loves warm neutrals with these four options guaranteeing a beautiful everyday look. Two of the shades are sandy beiges while the other two are a deep orange toned neutral and a rich burgundy.

Benefit Smokin' Eyes Kit
This palette has more than just one base covered in this cute little kit that not only includes eyeshadows but also brow products and an eyeliner. This kit includes three eyeshadows; a purple toned rose, sparkly light grey and deep matte brown. Also included is a brow wax, eye bright concealer and eyeliner. It's the perfect palette for on-the-go and travel since it includes so many different products.

So that is my first instilment of palettes worth the price and I hope you all enjoyed hearing about five of my favourites.
