URBAN DECAY RECOMMENDATIONS + WISH LIST

With the announcement of Urban Decay coming to a Mecca Maxima near you, I thought it was the perfect time to share my personal recommendations as well as a couple of products I plan on purchasing.

You better mark Friday the 27th of March in your calendars ladies, it's going to be a big day for Urban Decay fans and beauty addicts alike. Come armed with knowledge of my experiences with some Urban Decay products so that you don't feel overwhelmed at all the options and know a few products that are sure to be great. Keep on reading for more on my recommendations and wish list items.

RECOMMENDATIONS
These are products that I have tried from Urban Decay and that I would recommend in a heartbeat because my experience has been nothing but fantastic with each of these.

1. Urban Decay Primer Potion
This is one of the best eye primers that I have used to date and I continue to repurchase even though it's hard to track down and expensive by the time you pay for shipping. It is pretty much translucent so doesn't affect the colour of your eyeshadows at all but it is also oily in the best kind of way where your eyelids aren't left with a tight feeling as you get with drying primers.

2. Urban Decay Brushes
I can not get over how amazing their brushes are, especially when they are ridiculously overpriced and I always consider them more about makeup rather than brushes. It's always great when a brand exceeds in parts of beauty that they aren't really known for. Not only are the bristle hairs so incredibly soft but they also work with the Urban Decay eyeshadows so well, it's like they are a match made in heaven.

3. Urban Decay Naked Palette
The original naked palette is definitely my favourite because it consists of colours with a warm undertone and I find that compliments my complexion best. However, if you tend to gravitate towards cool based eyeshadows then the Naked 2 Palette will be right up your alley. You receive a plethora of stunning eyeshadow shades to choose from and create countless amazing eye looks. An Urban Decay Naked Palette is a must have for any makeup collection.

WISHLIST
4. Urban Decay Melt Down Makeup Remover
I have heard such great things about this product and it looks like a very impressive makeup remover so I would definitely like to give this a go. Granted that it's reasonably priced by the time it gets to Mecca since I'm not someone who likes to spend too much money on products such as this. As long as it gets the job done it's a good product to me but there's something about this makeup remover that gives me the feeling I need to try it out.

5. Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss
I am a sucker for cute lip products and the packaging on these babies looks amazing! Not to mention the colour selection appears to be quite broad; offering 9 shades with everything from corals to pinks and burgundy reds to nudes. I would definitely go for Lovechild the pink and Streak the coral. This is the perfect purse lipgloss and every time you see it in there you will sigh at how beautiful the packaging is.

6. Urban Decay Basics Palette
The six shades included in this product are to die for and I can see myself getting a heap of use out of. You can create a whole eye look out of the colours provided, including an eyeliner due to the deep black. All of the colours are matte so they are extremely versatile and multi-use. If you're really in a hurry and can't find your bronzer, you could even use the light brown as a contour shade or the lightest cream as a highlighter.

Those are my three product recommendations from Urban Decay as well as three products I am lusting over. I can't wait to have Urban Decay so accessible and from the reaction on social media so far I can see that most of you girls are too.
