LUST HAVE IT - ALL ABOUT MAKEUP EDITION

This month's Lust Have It was "all about makeup" and for the most part that was very true with a large selection of makeup items in this month's bag and one skincare product.

Before I get into each of the products, one of the first things I noticed was at all but one of these items is full sized. So I was really impressed to find 4 full sized products and one deluxe sized sample.

Designer Brands "Black 330" Liquid Eye Liner
Full Size ($8.99)
This fine eyeliner creates delicate winged out looks and crisp upper lash liner. Since the brush is so small, it's perfect for everyday use and beginners. This has definitely saved me from repurchasing my usual liquid liner that just dried out and I will definitely be giving it a go this month.

Natural Glamour 2GLO Line Treatment Concealer
Full Size ($29.95)
I am a huge fan of these two-in-one products that serve multiple purposes since they are generally quite time saving and perfect for those morning rushes to get ready. On one end is a line treatment that treats the flaws before hiding them with the concealer on the other end. This duo soothes and moisturises the eye area while providing coverage. Unfortunately this colour is slightly too dark for my undereye area but I will try using it on other places on my face or when I'm fake tanned.

Ulta3 "Plum" Lip Liner
Full Size ($2.95)
This colour screams autumn and winter with the beautiful wine/plum shade that is perfect for the upcoming cooler season. It offers a smooth and soft line to define and add shape to lips. I also find using a lip liner underneath lipstick or lipgloss increases the wear time dramatically. Look out for this in upcoming lip product posts because I can see myself using this quite a lot and I would recommend giving it a go since it's only a few dollars.

Paula's Choice Skincare
Deluxe Sized Sample ($12 for 30ml), Full Size ($33 for 118ml)
I have heard mixed reviews on this product ranging from describing it as a skin changing cleanser to a useless product that doesn't make any difference. I am interested to see how my skin reacts to this product and if I like it or not. It aims at exfoliating, un-clogging pores and improving skin cell turn-over rate.

Natural Glamour Illuminating Foundation
Full Size ($29.95)
Similar to the 2GLO Concealer, this shade is too dark for me to use but I'm hoping I can mix it in with a lighter foundation or use it for shading. I love the fact that it contains SPF 15 because any opportunity to add some sun protection into your makeup is great. The retail price gives me the impression it might be comparable to Maybelline or Revlon regarding quality.

Overall, I'm quite impressed with this month's bag as it contained a nice mix of drugstore products for face, eyes and lips. As always it's a great way of trying a selection of new makeup that you might not have otherwise purchased.
