PLAYING WITH BLUE EYE SHADOW / FOTD

The perfect way to spice up your weekend smokey eye is by adding a touch of blue.

In this look I played around with textures and finishes, making use of the stunning Maybelline Color Tattoo in "Electric Blue" and generously applied it as the base colour underneath the eyeshadows. Read on to see the full eye look and find out how I achieved it.

FACE
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
NARS Pressed Powder "Sweden"
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders Palette
Chanel Soleil De Tan Bronzer

EYES
Maybelline Color Tattoo "Electric Blue"
Maybelline Hyper Diamonds Eyeshadow palette
Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner
The Balm "What's Your Type" Mascara

BROWS
Benefit Brow "Light" Pencil
MAC "Cork"

That's the finished look. I definitely recommend layering a cream eyeshadow with eyeshadows because it adds a different texture. It is especially effective if you use a metallic base and cover it with pastel shadows or vice versa since it layers the different finishes and adds dimension to the eye look.
