URBAN DECAY SHADOW BOX

www.youtube.com/jordysbeautyspot

Urban Decay are famous for their eyeshadow palettes and with so many of them being cult classics (it's near impossible to flick to a beauty blog without there being a mention of "UD Naked"), how does their Shadow Box stack up against the rest?

With a dozen shades, each unique from the next. It's the perfect in-between for the girl who wants everything; including wearable nudes and bold colours.
This palette is best described as a mixture of neutral and wearable shimmers with some bright and bold shades thrown in there to break it up and provide more options for eye looks.

Some of these colours you may recognise from other Urban Decay palette since 9 of their bestsellers are in here, but having them all together in this little palette is great for travelling. Especially since you have a great mix of neutrals for day and are able to play with colour for fun night looks.

Sin is an intensely shimmery champagne.  Indo is a deep mermaid green. Bordello is a muted burgundy with a cool silver shimmer throughout. Tornado is deep mauve shade. Smog is a rustic golden brown with a beautiful warm shimmer. Blackout is a striking matte black, perfect for adding a different dimension into your bold smokey eyes.

Flash is the most beautiful purple eyeshadow I have come across, a light shimmery violet.
Mushroom is a deep silver with bright white glitters. Lost is an antiques brown with a warm golden shimmer. Freelove is a stunning medium toned coral with a lovely peach to it. Moonshadow is a galaxy blue with hints of deep brown shimmer and silver star glitters. Baked Cowboy is a shimmery yellow based gold bronze.

My favourites are definitely sin (sparkly nude everywhere for me thanks), bordello (hello gorgeous rose gold eye looks) and moonshadow (my lids be looking like a night sky).
As always, Urban Decay eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented giving rich colour to your eye looks. The consistency is extremely creamy and they have a velvety texture so these shadows are easily blendable.

This palette retail for $34 which is mind-blowingly great value, costing you just $2.80 per eyeshadow (CRAZINESS).

My verdict on this one is YES this palette is definitely a must have for your makeup collection, adding versatile and unique colours to your eyeshadow stash and always being able to create an eye catching shadow look.

It's available exclusively at Mecca Maxima so head into your nearest store and get your hands on this baby.
