FINDING YOUR PERFECT BRONZE EYESHADOW

It's the perfect time of year to bust out your favourite copper, bronze and burgundy shades or maybe even add a few more to your collection.

In this post I am sharing my favourite eyeshadows from a variety of brands at different price points and with a selection of; pressed shadows, pigments and creams.

MAC "Two To Glow" Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo
This mineralized eyeshadow is a baked formulation but still creamy in consistency. One side is a deep golden sand that swatches with a warm shimmery undertone. The other side is a mix of pink, chestnut and gold that when swatched is a light smoky brown with a pink shimmer. This eye shadow duo is priced at $42 and is available from MAC counters.

The Balm Overshadow The Sexpots "If you're rich, I'm single"
This mineral eyeshadow is a deep rich chocolate shade with a hint of chestnut to it. The intense shimmer has a multi-coloured glitter throughout it that makes for a complex finish. It's also a very buildable shade, able to be used sparingly for a wash of colour or pack it on for a more intense look. This mineral eyeshadow retails for $22.95 and is available in three other shades from The Balm kiosks in David Jones.

Claytime Australia Limited Edition Pure Mineral Shadow
This is a deep sand shade with a red undertone and slight shimmer throughout it. It is definitely a much less intense pigment than The Balm one though. You can get your hands on this product for $14.95 from the Claytime online store.

MAC "Amber Lights" Eyeshadow
If one MAC eyeshadow speaks to me most during the Autumn and Winter seasons, Amber Lights is definitely it. This light antiqued gold is the perfect hue to be worn on it's own or in combination with darker shades for a deep sultry finish. MAC eyeshadows retail for $33 and is available from MAC counters.

Covergirl Bombshell ShineShadow "325 Copper Fling"
If the drying weather is just too much for you then sometimes it's beneficial to try a cream eyeshadow since they are a lot more hydrating. Covergirl have a beautiful metallic range and this stunning warm copper is perfect for this time of year. Only $11.95 and available from Priceline pharmacies, a little goes a long way and you wil be holding onto this one for many cooler seasons to come.

NARS "Paramaribo" Eyeshadow Duo
If you are looking to splurge or simply wanting to try out some NARS shadows, then this colour duo is perfect for Autumn and Winter. The combination of golden moss and antiqued copper make for a more complex eye look. These duos don't come cheap at $46 and available from Mecca.

Hopefully this post has given you some ideas of new A/W eye colours to pick up or inspired some new colour combinations this season.
