Lately drugstore makeup places such as Priceline have been hit with some pretty awesome new releases and I have rounded up my favourites to share with you.

These are affordable items that are really awesome whether it be because they are comparable to high end or they are a great way of saving money on seasonal trends. Read on for an insight into the latest beauty hits on the market.

Maybelline The Nudes Palette
This was such a highly anticipated product to make it's way to Aussie shores and it exceeded my expectations. I didn't have high standards because a lot of Maybelline quads have let me down in the past but I actually love this palette. The combination of metallic, shimmer and matte shades are a perfect balance and all seamlessly blend together.
Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow
The main things you need to know about this product range is that they; smell amazing and have a lovely subtle tint, all while nourishing and moisturising the lips. These are a great gimmicky product that the high end like to brand as luxurious tinted lip balms when in reality you don't need to spend that much and can find these drugstore dupes for much less.
Rimmel Oh My Gloss ($13.95)
I have heard mixed reviews on this product so I think it is a very hit and miss product and depends on the colours you get. This particular shade is incredibly pigmented and very comparable to the Australis Pout Pastes that are known for their amazing colour payoff. The formulation is slightly sticky but that is a small price to pay for the incredible pop of colour on the lips.
Australis Metallix Eyeshadows ($7.95)
These are not your ordinary coloured cream base because they give an insane foiled finish to the eyes. This lightweight and smooth consistency really packs a punch of colour making for a great base or lid colour on it's own. Read my full review here.
Model Co Lash and Line Mascara and Liner ($24)
So this product is likely more than you would usually spend on ModelCo but it is a dual product so there is value in the fact that it is two products in the one. Both the liner and the mascara are pretty good, not life changing amazing but they do the trick and for a novelty product it is great.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara ($21.95)
Now this is a life changing mascara and I have fallen in love with everything about it; the brush, formulation, pigmentation and everything in between. It really makes the difference and you can tell there is instant volume and lengthening from the very first swipe.
So if you are wandering Priceline or the makeup section of Kmart, stop to take a look at some of these new releases and maybe even pick up a few to try if you haven't already. From all the fresh stuff on the market, these are definitely my favourites.
