BECCA GLOW ON THE GO HOLIDAY SET

Believe it or not but up until my recent Sephora online order I had never tried any Becca products.

When I wasn't able to find Champagne Pop in stock anywhere while in the US I was sort of disheartened and never tried to figure out where to order from back in Australia.

Then the universe delivered with the goods, allowing me to try out some Becca with the new launch of Sephora Australia online. So it all worked out and now I'm here to talk you through one of their adorable highlighter Christmas sets and my thoughts.

The Becca Glow on The Go contains mini sizes of two of their most popular highlighting products. The pack includes the unbeatable duo of their Shimmering Skin Perfecter cream highlight and powder highlight, both in the shade 'Opal'.

'Opal' is absolutely stunning and after also purchasing the full size of 'Moonstone' I can say that 'Opal' is definitely my favourite. The shade reminds me a lot of MAC Soft and Gentle MSF but is a lot more metallic and slightly more golden.

The powder has a really soft consistency that blends seamlessly into the skin and looks so beautiful on the cheekbones. The liquid is amazing for dry skin because it leaves a youthful glowy finish to the skin that leaves your complexion radiant.

So I'm sure something you would be interested in knowing about is the size of the products since they are 'travel' or 'mini' sized. Let's be real though highlighter is nothing like foundation where you see the bottom of the bottle often. The powder is 0.085oz (a little bit bigger than a 50 cent coin) and the liquid highlighter is 0.17oz. So although they are quite small in size you only need to tiniest amount so these products will last you a really long time despite being miniature.
On the left is both products swatched with flash and on the right is without flash. The cream version of the product gives more of a opalescent finish while the powder has a more metallic sheen to it. Both are the same pale yellow gold though and I think it comes down to your personal preference on formulation.
On the left is a picture of Becca 'Opal' Shimmering Skin Perfector powder without flash and the picture on the right is with flash. So it can be noted that without flash it is more of a golden bronze and with flash it photographs as a golden champagne colour.

So let's talk about price. This set retails for $45 and is available from Sephora Australia online. Full sizes of these products are around $65. I love how the set allows you to try out the two different Becca products because it allows you to try the different formulations and own multiple products for less than the price of one full sized item.

I definitely think this is a cute little kit for gifting in the holiday season because it is quite an affordable set and I think any girl who loves makeup will adore this.
