I have heard people absolutely rave about this product, particularly about the radiant and healthy glow it gives the skin.

I knew I had to try it for myself and that it would be perfect for this season to see how it paired with a nice tan. I'm here to discuss my results, the experience I have had with this product and my overall thoughts. If you are on the fence about spending $60 on a highlighter then hopefully this review helps make up your mind.

Opal appears to be the lightest of highlight shades available from Becca making it perfect for all skin tones. Anywhere in the spectrum from pale skin to darker tones will suit this white highlight. When mixed into something it makes your skin look extremely radiant and healthy, providing a natural glow to the skin. When used on it's own it provides an eye-catching bright highlight perfect for the cheek bones, nose, cupids bow and anywhere else you want it. When it catches the light the particles of glitter reflect a beautiful sheen.

If you weren't aware, Becca actually have three different formulations of highlighter; powder, cream and liquid. This liquid version has a really lightweight and slippery formulation which makes it creamy and blendable.  It provides a really thin highlight without looking or feeling cakey. This makes is the perfect alternative to a powder highlighter in the warmer weather when you want to go a bit lighter on the coverage.

It is a really versatile product being able to be mixed into foundation or BB cream for a subtle glow or worn on it's own as a concentrated highlight. The squeeze tube makes it super simple and easy to use, dispensing a little more product than necessary when it comes to applying a cheek bone highlight but just the right amount when mixing it into things.

Price and availability
This product retails for $60 and is available from Sephora online or in store. Yes it is a pretty hefty price tag for one face product but this is an extremely high quality product. A little goes a long way so this will last you a long time and the results are gorgeous.

I would definitely recommend this product because for a highlighter it is extremely versatile. The liquid formulation means you can work with it in a lot more ways than the powder and even cream version. After also trying the cream and powder products from Becca, the liquid version is definitely my personal preference. I would even go as far to say that this is a makeup bag essential and can really liven up your look.
