SPLURGE OR SAVE / MAC VS. NYX CREAM BLUSH

NYX and MAC go head to head and battle it out to decide which has the best natural pink cream blush.

Whether you want to splurge on a high end one or save by purchasing one from the drugstore; we have you covered with these two options.

Colour and Formulation
These two aspects are probably the most important to compare since they are the basis of the product and decide whether they are similar or not. There is a slight different between them regarding consistency as the MAC blush is much creamier and thicker in texture while the NYX blush is thinner and gives a more gel-like effect. Despite this, the colours are extremely similar and you definitely couldn't tell the difference if you applied NYX on one cheek and MAC on the other.

Price and Availability
The MAC Cremeblend Blush retails for $32 and is available at MAC counters in David Jones and Myer. The NYX Rouge Cream Blush retails for $11.95 and is available in Target Australia wide. So that means that the NYX blush is about a third of the price of the one from MAC so there is definitely a potential for lots of money to be saved.

The Verdict
To put it simply, yes MAC does have the better quality product but you can definitely get away with using the NYX one and it might be worth it to save the money. If you think you will use the cream blush at least a few times a week then I think the MAC one would be great for you and you would definitely appreciate the quality. It will last you such a long time but it is definitely easier to blend and therefore saves you time every single day applying it. However, if it is a product you will only use occasionally then save your money and go with the NYX one because it will be worth spending the little bit of extra time blending it in.
