10 FUN THINGS THAT HAPPENED IN 2015

For my last post of 2015 I want to look back on all the fun and exciting things that happened in my life this year and share them with you.

I love these sort of posts and know a recap of 2015 will always be fun for me to look back on in years to come. I thought 10 things sounded like a lot but they came to be quite easily and it made me realize there is so much to be grateful for and appreciate.

I think that this would be a great exercise to do for you reading this as well because it is so fun looking back on all of the accomplishments on the year ending to put everything in perspective for the new year starting.

Before we get into it I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for everyone who has shown me love and supported me this year! It honestly means so much to me that I am able to share my passion with so many lovely girls and those who read my blog. I consider myself extremely lucky and am incredible grateful for having so much love and support in my life.

1. USA Trip
I went to America and it was such an amazing experience to see a new and different culture. I definitely ticked a lot of my bucket list on this trip like hiking the Hollywood Hills, visiting Yosemite National Park, standing at the Grand Canyon and so much more.

2. Melbourne Meet Up
I held a meet up in Melbourne and met so many beautiful readers and subscribers. It was such a surreal experience to put faces to names and grasp that every number represents an amazing person supporting me.

3. BOE Guest Speaking Spot
I traveled with BOE Beauty to Glamour Affair in Melbourne for a guest speak with bloggers.

4. University Achievements
I achieved good grades in Uni and was really impressed with how well I did. It is so easy to get caught up in other things and put other things before study so I was very proud of myself to make Uni a priority and get top grades this year.

5. Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival
I worked with Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival on a social media takeover following the trends from Brisbane and showcasing them on Snapchat. This was a huge step forward for incorporating fashion into my content and definitely a shifting point in my style.

6. Dream Collaborations
I was able to work with some dream brands this year with some highlights including MAC, Sephora and Mecca. It is beyond my wildest dreams that I have been able to work with companies that I have used and loved for years or admired from a far (before Sephora even came to Australia).

7. I chose happiness
I took a lot of time out for myself this year and really focused on my happiness. I am an extremely hard worker so  I often feel unproductive if I'm not "go, go, go" all of the time. This year, especially towards the end of 2015, I made a conscious effort to put myself into circumstances where I could relax. This meant a lot of weekends away and some amazing experiences which I am really grateful for. Taking the time out for myself has helped me really open up to be confident in myself and my personality more opened up.

8. I entered my 20's
This birthday milestone for me cemented the fact that I am now an adult (not that I wasn't previously lol) and made me have a huge think about what I want out of life and where I am going.

9. I got fit
This year I put a huge focus on my health. I made sure that I ate right and regularly rather than skipping meals or snacking on junk food. I also made the effort to haul my butt to yoga and pilates with intentions on strengthening my body and making myself a lot stronger.

10. Future Fun
I started a few big projects this year that I am looking forward to seeing come to fruition in 2016. I am so happy to be leaving 2015 knowing that the next year holds a lot of promise albeit hard work.

2015 was an incredible year that surpassed my expectations. I achieved so much more this year than I could have ever dreamed up considering my only real goals were to do well in Uni and be happy. I am beyond excited to see what 2016 has in store and hope all you have some kick ass goals for the new year.  Thank you again, you reading this, for being there and for supporting me. I will never be able to express just how grateful I am for the support.
