FESTIVE BEAUTY

With the holiday season in full swing and Christmas tomorrow here is a bit of last minute makeup inspiration for your festivities. 

Here are some makeup products that I feel are very festive and suit the jolly theme of the holidays. These are products that focus on red (you can't beat a red lip on Christmas), shimmers and golds.

Earlier in the week we have discussed sparkly holiday eyes and holiday red lipsticks but in this post I have a random mix of festive beauty favourites. 

MAC "Soft and Gentle" Mineralize Skinfinish is my go to highlighter for healthy radiant skin and a little bit of sparkle is always gorgeous with party makeup. 

For a flush of red on the cheeks the Curtis Collection "Fashionista" Baked Blush is a beautiful vibrant red that looks gorgeous when paired with a red lip. 

I mentioned the NARS Paramaribo Eyeshadow Duo and the MAC "Amber Lights" Eyeshadow in the sparkly holiday eyes post a few days ago as perfect shades for a festive gold eye look. These are really high quality and look amazing on the lid paired with a bold lip. 

As soon as I saw the Avon Stardust Crystal Nail Enamel in "Cherry Dazzler" it immediately got my excited for the holiday season. It is such a stunning hot red with a beautiful sparkle throughout it and the perfect nail colour to match your lips.  

Speaking of lips, a shade that I didn't include in my holiday red lipsticks feature is the Julie Hewitt "Rouge Noir". This is a drop dead gorgeous classic red with a very creamy formulation so it's nice and easy to wear. 

So those have been a few of my favourite products perfect for the Christmas and New Years season.
