QUOTE: KATY PERRY STARTING OUT WITH MAKEUP!

Hey everyone,

I was reading a magazine and found a quote about Katy Perry starting out in makeup and i thought it was interesting and i would share with you guys.

I just thinks it's really interesting how she went from not being able to afford makeup to being able to afford a personal makeup artist. I quite enjoy seeing what Katy Perry dones with her makeup and she always looks amazing. She isn't afraid to experiment with bright colours which shows a good example regarding my makeup post here.

CHRISTINA COPYING GAGA

Hey everyone,
Is it just me or does Chrstina Aguleria's new music video "Not The Same Girl Tonight" seem quite literal. Like seriously, she really isn't the same girl tonight!!! I love Christina and always have for her gorgeous blue eyes and red lips but she seems to have forgotten entierly about her own individual style and seems to be feeding off other people's. See for yourself the comparisons between the videos.



From what i have seen the similarities are:
*The medievil torture outfits
*The eye makeup (although i must admit it is common, it really rmeinded me of GaGa)
*The finger movements around the eyes
*The claws (are you serious?!?! that is one of the top things GaGa is known for.)
*The burning of the clothes on fire (Not only did this part make no sense but it's such a GaGa thing to do-she lights everything on fire!!)
*The whole girl-on-girl thing reminds me of Lady GaGa LoveGame
*The leotards (I believe that Christina is far too petite to pull of the hot pants and leotards)
*Her expressions (You know those incomprehensible, really random and unexplained facial movements or dance moves that GaGa does in some of her videos? I kinda seemed as though Christina was epic failing with many of them)
*The whole boy in bed thing was taken too far. Yet GaGa decides to burn the boy instead of whatever Christina did...



In no means am i disrespecting Christina!! She is amazing!! That's exactly why i can't figure out why she felt the need to copy other celebrities.

Hey everyone,

I have been lacking extremley when it comes to my blog so i just though i would update you guys and inform you of what has been going on.

School and homework has been piling up recently. I'm not sure what it is but just as we came back to term 2 everything seemed to be due, it was horrible. A few things are still due but things are starting to settle down now. The most TRAUMITIZING assignment that had to be complete was a Health and Physical Education "Fitness Program".

I won't bore you with details but basically you had to construct a 3 week programme with 3 sessions a week with activity covering training types (Contuinuous, Fartlek, Plymetric, Circuit, Interval), fitness components (LME, Aerobic endurance, muscular power, cardio-respiratory endurance etc.), reps, sets, rest times, stating wether they are aerobic or anaerobic and sub-maximal or maximal. Gosh it was TORTUROUS and kept me up until about 1am-3am most mornings for about a week attempting to complete it!!

Sorry for that little rant about this MONSTOROUS assignment but i had to get it of my chest *exhales*. Who knew push ups and star jumps could be so hard, right?!

Today is Friday and i am excited for this long weekend. This Monday is public holiday for Labour Day and last Monday was a public holiday for Anzac Day. It's always nice to have an extra day off especially if you have to work every Saturday and Sunday so never really get a weekend anyway!

We are 2 weeks into the term and although i enjoyed my holidays, it was good to go back to school and see my friends. My holidays were really fun and my easter was great, i had 2 weeks off and that was amazing!!

I got a new phone which is really exciting. It's the HTC Touch Pro 2. It runs o Microsoft so it has applications such as OneNote, Word, Slideshow, PhotoStory etc.

In regards to YouTube videos will be up very soon. I have soo many video ideas and requests i need to film!! I have a MAC/Clinique/Smashbox/Stila haul coming up. It is a REALLY REALLY REALLY big one!!! So watch out for that haul coming up, i just need to film it ASAP.

I think that's about it, i really want to know how you guys are going. I feel so out of touch, please enlighten me into what has been happeneing here on blogspot!! I hope to be going around checking out you girlies blogs once again. It's been a while and i apologise!! I can't wait to read lots of blogs, catch up on goss and reconnect with you guys :D

MATCHING MAKEUP

Hey everyone,

I have always wondered about the extent as to how matchy your makeup can actually be. I used to believe that if i had a baby pink eye then i couldn't match it with a bright pink lip as it was too matchy-matchy.

Now that i am more experienced in makeup and somewhat wiser with beauty products, i have learnt that the "rules" of makeup are made to be broken.

I honestly don't even come close to following this rule and am a repeat offender. I personally adore a baby pink eye with a bright pink lip and is one of my favourite looks.

I guess the point of this was to say that recently i have been reading many online beauty columns talking about beauty rules and specifically matching makeup and i don't want you guys to take it to heart or seriously. Yes read those columns because they are entertaining and informative, covering many different topics, but don't take everything they write to heart or seriously because everyone has their point of view and i wouldn't change yours to fit in with theirs.

To say Lady GaGa is amazing is an understatement. You can not even begin to explain her style because she has created her own and wears basically anything, switching it up on a regular basis. She is known for her outgoing fashion choices and her expression of art through couture.
