Palmers is a brand that I have been using for years and years, ever since the beginning of high school. I first discovered it through my mum, as you do with most products at that age, because she was an avid user of the original solid cocoa butter moisturiser. I remember you had to dig your hands in there to gather some product, a hard task in winter since most soft oils such as this solidify at temperatures under 23 degrees. The oil would then melt into the skin using your body heat, leaving your body soft and nourished.

HOW I BLOG EVERYDAY

 



I was recently a guest speaker at Obsession 2015, a beauty and blogging conference where Brisbane girls got together to touch base with brands and talk about everything beauty and blogging. During my presentation, one of the questions I was asked was how I blog every day regarding staying motivated, finding the time amongst other commitments and building your blog up to the point of putting out content so regularly. I thought it was such a great question and definitely something I would have asked back in 2010 when I was trying to build my blog regarding content.

If you're a blogger then you know what I mean when I say that there are no real days off. We are always doing something for our blog be it taking photos, writing posts, scheduling posts or even just brainstorming ideas for future articles. It's a 24/7 job but definitely the most rewarding experience.

As I know a lot of you have your own blogs and since blogging is such as passion of mine, I would love to write more of these types of articles where I share tips and tricks that have worked for me that hopefully you can apply back to your blog.

Without further ado, here are my big tips for reaching the point of blogging every day.

A WEEKEND AT THE PRO MAKEUP AND BEAUTY SHOW 2015

This weekend I attended the Pro Makeup and Beauty Show, basically a massive room absolutely full of makeup and beauty goodies with eyeshadow and lipstick in every direction you turn.

 

It's a Brisbane based event similar to the world resound IMATS, however smaller. Big brands like Inglot and Crown Brushes attend as well as a fab amount of smaller brands that always surprise me with their incredible and unique products.

PRO BLOW DRY FROM HOME WITH CASUALCURL

With the CasualCurl, one of my favourite looks to achieve are these wearable soft curls for everyday salon quality hair without leaving the house.

This style adds texture and volume to my hair and leaves me looking like I just stepped out of a "round brush blow dry" at the salon with bouncy voluminous curls.
