YOUR GUIDE TO BUYING URBAN DECAY PALETTES

It can be difficult to decide which Urban Decay palette to spend your money on, especially when you are presented with so many amazing options but I'm here with tips and recommendations to help you decide on your perfect palette.

 

I have chosen my three favourite Urban Decay palettes to give you an idea of my favourite from each kind they offer; naked palettes, basic palettes as well as their assorted colour palettes.

SETTING THE LOOK AND KEEPING IT IN PLACE

It can become a little confusing when the lines are blurred between what is a makeup setting spray and what is a mist, so I'm here to explain the difference to make sure you get best results from your products.

 

Once your makeup is complete, the best thing to finish it off is definitely a setting spray that's going to set your look and make sure it stays in place all day. With that in mind, a thermal water or gel mist is great for freshening up a makeup look and hydrating the skin. There's a time and place for both so let's get into the five products I have here to discuss.

MY FAVOURITE PRIMERS

Primers can either make or break the base of your face makeup and although I've been let down on many occasions with subpar results, I have definitely come across some favourites through trialling and test a lot of what's available on the market.

BB creams are the perfect everyday essential for light to medium coverage, SPF protection and moisturising capabilities.

 

But when you don't want to spend too much on an item like this where you know you will have to repurchase often, these cheaper alternatives are great options. We are taking a look at six BB Creams and rating them against their coverage, strong points, weaknesses, colour selection and value.

CREME DE LA CREME CONCEALERS

 

It's the concealer that can really make or break a face of makeup. Perfectly covering blemishes and highlighting under the eyes can make a huge difference.

GLOWY SKIN IN WINTER

The weather may be dry and dreary but you can always have dewy and glowing skin! These products are going to bring the colour a healthy glow back to your face.
